Forest Ridge Davie FL a Great Place to Live

Forest Ridge Davie FL Homes For Sale

Forest Ridge is a neighborhood located in Davie, Florida. It is a residential community with a mix of single-family homes and townhomes.

This Broward County neighborhood is known for its tree-lined streets, park-like setting, and green spaces. It is conveniently located near shopping centers, restaurants, and other amenities, and is just a short drive from downtown Fort Lauderdale and the beaches.

Many residents of Forest Ridge enjoy the community's recreational facilities, including a swimming pool, tennis courts, and a playground.

For those in search of outdoor bliss, the Forest Ridge Home delivers in abundance.

Step outside onto the expansive deck, where the sounds of birdsong and rustling leaves serenade you as you sip your morning coffee or unwind beneath the starlit sky.

Immerse yourself in the natural beauty that surrounds you as you explore the lush gardens, meandering pathways, and secluded alcoves that dot the landscape.

I still ride my bicycle here and occasionally run into old friends, it brings back a lots of happy memories of when I raised my kids there, they went to school at Forest Ridge Elementary then to Indian Ridge and eventually High School at Western High School.

How Much will my Forest Ridge Home be worth in 5 years?

Going with a conservative appreciation rate for Homes of 3.5% per year you can expect a $500K Home to appreciate to:

5 years $594K

10 years $706K

20 years $1 Million

Due to low interest rates and other issues home values in Broward County FL increased by at least 20% in 2021, so as you can see this is a conservative estimate of future value, we might get another interest rate decrease soon, we’ll have to wait to see how the home market will react, it is impossible to predict the future, we can only look back.

As you can see the more home you can afford the better. This is not a guarantee it is only an estimate.

Why I think the time to buy is in the next few months:

The consensus is that by the end of 2023 the inflation rate is will be at 2.8% from almost 6% now.

If Interest rates were to climb much higher the fed will take action, no body has a crystal ball but this is what is likely to happen get ready!

Watch the brief video above, if the past can teach us something is that when interest rates are low Home and Commercial Properties go up in price and, another argument for  in the next few months is that the inventory of homes and commercial properties in South Florida are expected to remain low.

Moving Without the Stress

No matter your excitement for the new place, moving comes with its share of stress. You can stay organized and frustration-free by creating to-do lists. For example, one to-do list may include all of your disconnection dates for utilities, whereas another may consist of organization and packing ideas. Keep a notebook close by to create lists for jobs you need to complete before moving day.

Do not wait to begin putting your belongings in moving boxes. Start packing one room at a time to ease your stress. For example, if you have a storage closet you rarely open, start organizing and packing items from there first. Packing usually takes twice as long as you imagine, so plan to begin the process early.

Consider moving services to keep the move from becoming physically and emotionally draining. When you hire a moving service, others do the heavy lifting while taking extra care of your fragile items.

There are ways you can alleviate some of your stress while planning a move. Figure out your housing and neighborhood options before you consider accessibility, as well as property prices in the area.
